15 Things You Learn While at College

1. I'm sorry to say, but the Freshman 15 thing is real and it will haunt you.

2. You are waaaay more like your mother than you originally thought, there is no denying it.

3. You realize that people don't always have the same living standards that you do, hence why I had a mouse in the freezer of my mini fridge.

4. Life is a lot more like a comedy show now.

5. You WILL have a drunk person walk into your room by accident thinking it's a bathroom, it just happens. Except it because it may even be you.

6. Your taste in music will expand and it will be amazing.

7. Having conversations until 5am with people you just met is a regular occurrence.

8. You may or may not have to help a few lost drunk people find their way to the bathroom and it's okay.

9. You may revert back to being 5 years old at times because goldfish and juice pouches will now always have to be in stock.

10. The food will probably cause your stomach to make some questionable noises. It can't be helped I'm sorry.

11. Your friends are everything here and may actually the friends you have for the rest of your life. Yes, the cliche is actually true.

12. You will miss your family, but living without them will be liberating.

13. You will have more fun than you thought you would.

14. Being an adult is now a reality and it sucks.

15. You will have a lot of moments where you feel like a dunce and that's alright.
